Update on COVID-19

Burlington County Footlighters continues to do the best we can to plan and perform theatre safely as we navigate COVID-19. First and foremost, we hope that you and your loved ones continue to be safe and healthy. To help with that, we have decided to change some of our policies going forward.

Starting this season, Footlighters will require proof of COVID-19 vaccination for all eligible individuals who participate in our productions – including actors, directors, teachers, tech and more. At this time, we are not requiring vaccination of our audience. Audience members are also encouraged to mask in our intimate theatre, but are not required to do so.

Throughout the pandemic we have shifted to producing on our outdoor Back Stage, streamed filmed productions online, put on productions with masked audiences and even masked performers. We took each of these steps in the hopes of creating a safe environment for all involved. And this latest step continues in that spirit.

Having seen the vaccine mandate practice implemented successfully in theatres around our area and around the country, we are confident this decision will help us continue to operate in the best interest of all participants.
